Below is information regarding school districts providing free lunch and breakfast and/or the school
district’s contact information so that you can reach out for more information. On 3/19/2020, the
Whispering Pines Social Workers spoke directly with most of the school districts below in an attempt
to provide the community as accurate information as possible. Please contact the school district
directly regarding any questions you have about these programs.

Ballston Spa Central School District
Ballston Spa is providing FREE and REDUCED price grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to children
who currently receive these meals. Families not currently in the program can still apply by completing
a form located on their website at www.bscsd.org

Broadalbin-Perth School District
Broadalbin is providing meals for preschool age children through grade 12. Sign up is on their website
or if you are unable to sign up online contact Georgia Baldwin at 518-954-2501.If you are unable to
pick up the meals, contact Broadalbin for them to help make arrangements to have meals delivered.

Canajoharie School District
CSD is providing FREE breakfast and lunch to go for ANY child under 18 who lives in the
school district. This includes, Whispering Pines students as well as Head Start, etc.
Time: 8am-9am
Locations:
High School (front foyer area)
Arkell Library (parking lot)
Bus Stops (at all regular bus stops at their daily run stopping at each location between 8-9am)
Students who live in East Hill and Moyer St areas will need to pick up food at the high school
or Arkell Library
Village Restaurant will be serving a free meal a day (grilled cheese or hot dog) anytime from
8am-5pm

Charlotte Valley Central School District
Charlotte Valley is providing FREE grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to ANY child under the age of 18
residing in this district. The district will be providing 5 days worth of meals per child every Monday.
These meals must be ordered by noon the Wednesday before the pickup date.
Time: 9am-10am

# of children, dates of pickup, phone number, and any allergies.

Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District
Cobleskill is providing FREE grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to ANY child under the age of 18
residing in this district. At the time of pick-up please have your child’s meal ID number available.
Please sign-up online for their pre-registration or contact them for more information.

Cooperstown Central School District

Duanesburg Central School District
Duanesburg is providing FREE breakfast and lunch delivery to ANY child under the age of  18 residing in this district. Please contact Mary Jewell at 518-895-3000 x228 to register for meal deliveries.

Edinburg Central School District
Edinburg is providing breakfast and lunch. Edinburg is delivering these meals daily from 8am-9am.

Fonda-Fultonville Central School District
Fonda is providing to-go meals for children, however please contact the school directly to confirm that they are able to accommodate your child for meals. Alternate pick up or delivery options may be available.

Gilboa-Conesville Central School District
Gilboa is providing FREE grab-and-go breakfast and lunch for ANY child under the age of 18 who
resides in this school district. Gilboa will also deliver the meals for you, if you are unable to leave your
home or don’t have transportation.

Greater Amsterdam School District
GASD is providing FREE lunch and breakfast to go for ANY child under 18 who lives in GASD school
district. This includes, Whispering Pines as well as Sunshine Kids, Head Start, etc. Parents can pick
up meals without their child present, however will need to provide some information regarding
name/age/address and/or school.
Time: 11am-1pm daily through the school closure.

**Gloversville Enlarged School District
Gloversville is providing FREE lunch and breakfast to go for ANY child under 18 who lives in the
GESD school district. This includes children who attend, Whispering Pines as well as Head Start,
Boces, etc. Parents can pick up the meals without their child present, however will need to provide
some information regarding children’s name/age/address and/or school.
Time: 8:30am-12:30pm through March 31st

Jefferson Central School District
Jefferson will be providing FREE drive-up breakfast and lunch services. Recipients should remain in
their vehicles and school personnel will bring the meals to your car. Families who are interested must
place orders the day before pick-up. Jefferson is also able to deliver meals if you are unable to leave
your home or do not have transportation.

Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School
If you reside in OESJ and your child does not attend an OESJ school at this time, however you are
interested in getting free lunch and breakfast for your child please call OESJ using the phone number
below to get added to a list to be able to receive the free breakfast and lunch for your child under 18.

Please contact Schenectady CSD for more information. They currently have pick up and bus drop
offs, however we were unable to confirm if they were providing to just k-12 students.

Scotia-Glenville Central School District
Scotia-Glenville is providing FREE breakfast and lunch for ANY child under the age of 18 who resides

Sharon Springs Central School District
Sharon Springs is providing FREE breakfast and lunch for ANY child under the age of 18 who resides
in this school district; if your child attends Head Start please coordinate services through them.
Sharon Springs will also deliver the meals for you, if you are unable to leave your home or don’t have
transportation. Please visit their website to complete the registration form.
Time: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30am-11am
Location: For pick-up, pull-up outside the school on the East side by the “food” sign and ring the bell.
The Sharon Springs Methodist Church food bank will be temporarily relocated to the school effective
Monday March 23. 2020. SSCS staff will be operating the food bank and provide food pantry items as
needed on Tuesday 7:30am – 9:00 am and Friday 7:30am – 9:00 am.

South Glens Falls Central School District
South Glens Falls is providing FREE grab-and-go breakfast and lunch for students who currently
receive free or reduced price meals. South Glens Falls will also deliver meals for families who are
unable to leave their home or do not have transportation.
Time: 12 – 3pm Tuesday and Thursday

Stillwater Central School District
Stillwater is providing FREE breakfast and lunch to ANY child under the age of 18 who resides in this
district. Meal delivery can be arranged for families who are unable to leave their homes or do not
have transportation.
